What is loyola marymount mascot?

The Loyola Marymount University (LMU) mascot is a lion named Iggy. Iggy is a golden lion with a mane and tail in LMU's blue and maroon school colors. The name Iggy comes from St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit order of which LMU is affiliated. Iggy is known for entertaining LMU's fans at athletic events and representing the university in the community.
